Police say that an 18-year-old college student in Connecticut has died following a fall from the roof of a Hartford building that houses a popular bar.
Deputy Chief Brian Foley says Taylor Lavoi, of East Granby, fell from the roof of a four-story building around 12:30 A.M. EST Friday. Lavoie was a student at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.

Foley said it is believed that Lavoi was at the Angry Bull Saloon on the ground floor of the building before her fall. He also said that alcohol was involved, though it’s unknown if the victim herself had been drinking. According to authorities, Lavoi fell down a five-foot wide alley between two buildings.
Police are investigating whether Lavoi fell on her own accord or if she was the victim of foul play.
