Fans know that HBO’s Veep concluded season five on a depressing note, one that only became more significant after this past November. Selina is bumped from the Oval Office and an important policy she worked very hard on is also taken from her. It was actually pretty sad territory for a comedy but it really made for some good TV. Kudos to HBO.
Thankfully for the main character and for anxious fans waiting for more, she’ll get a shot at redemption in season six, which seemingly involves short skirts and other forms of hilarity. Check out the first look at the upcoming new season, courtesy of star Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

How will Selina rebound? We don’t know, but luckily we won’t have to wait long to find out as Veep will return to HBO on April 16.
