Who Won Super Bowl 50: Score & Super Bowl 2016 Highlights

With only a few days until Super Bowl 51‘s game between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons, let’s go back and visit last year’s Super Bowl, a matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.
In what I (and probably most of America) thought was going to be a great game or an easy win for the Carolina Panthers and their MVP quarterback Cam Newton, the Denver Broncos and their defense beat up on Cam and the Panthers all night, winning their third Super Bowl victory by a score of 24-10. It was such a shocker to me because I thought that noodle arm Peyton Manning had no chance of beating the 15-1 Panthers, who were awesome on both offense and defense. And Peyton really didn’t do anything in the Super Bowl, but little did I know that the Broncos had one of the best defenses I’ve ever seen.
The Denver defense got to Cam all night, sacking him six times, including a strip sack by MVP Von Miller in the first quarter, where defensive tackle Malik Jackson recovered for a touchdown to go up 10-0. The Panthers made it interesting with a Jonathan Stewart touchdown in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 10-7, but it was all Denver for the rest of the game. It was 16-10 in the fourth quarter with Carolina driving, but I think everybody knew that the Broncos weren’t going to let the Panthers score, and Miller eventually ended that drive with another strip sack, making Denver world champions. Here are some highlights from the game.
