Hasn’t NC State won a title before? With some guy named Jimmy V? Is that ringing a bell to anyone? In my professional opinion, if you have a championship banner hanging in your rafters, storming the court or celebrating a regular season win is off the table. Once you’ve reached the mountaintop, you don’t celebrate peaking at a lower level. That right there is a loser’s mentality.
Apparently, NC State hasn’t read my official memo on how champions are supposed to act, because they went absolutely APE SHIT last night over beating a Coach K-less Duke team in the middle of January. January, folks. Little embarrassing if you ask me.
Butttttt that being said, college is college and you should take advantage of every chance you can to have a good time, so rock on NC State.
