With the Golden Globes kicking off the start of awards season and inching us closer to the highly coveted Academy Awards, the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) nominations were released today. To the surprise of no one, La La Land continues its hot streak picking up eleven nominations, which is the most of any film, followed up by Arrival and Nocturnal Animals both picking up nine, respectively.
The 70th Annual BAFTA Awards will be held on February 12, 2017, and are the last awards before the Oscars. Take a look at all the nominees below to see who was recognized for the year in film.
