Western Michigan (10-0) versus the University of Buffalo (2-8) doesn’t look like the most exciting game to host ESPN Gameday, but the football teams aren’t the full story here. Yes, Western Michigan football is on an absolute tear right, earning their first ever national ranking earlier this year. Yes, they’re currently sitting at #21. But since I’ve been working here at COED, it’s been no small secret that Western Michigan fans are wild animals who’ve been deserving of the spotlight for some time right now.
Some know it as Western, others know it as “Wastern.”
And judging from this sign outside of a liquor store that’s desperately trying to remind people to stay sober even though it looks drunk as a skunk, this is going to be one for the ages. Kalamazoo is going to burn this weekend when the Broncos roll over the Bulls.
