Premier League 2016: Standings, Table & Results, Week 3

Last year it was Leicester City who completed the fairy tale by outlasting everyone else to win the Premier League. That forced England’s biggest clubs to bring in heralded managers and prized players to try to reclaim their past glory. And so far so good for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United’s, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Antonio Conte’s Chelsea. The three clubs who combined to win the 11 previous EPL titles prior to last season have all won their first three matches this season.
Below are the results from this weekend’s action, followed by the current table.
Next week there is the first international break of the season, and then the highly anticipated Manchester Derby on September 10th looms large afterward.

Week 3 Results:

Saturday, August 27th

Tottenham 1-1 Liverpool
Watford 1-3 Arsenal
Chelsea 3-0 Burnley
Crystal Palace 1-1 Burnley

Leicester City 2-1 Swansea City
