Justin Bieber is getting a ton of flack on Instagram for taking a photo with the principal from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, not because he’s not cool enough to be referencing that movie, but because the principal is played by Jeffrey Jones, a convicted sex offender.
Back in 2003, Jeffrey Jones was arrested for possession of child porn and in addition to being accused of soliciting a 14-year-old boy to pose for naked photographs. He pleaded no contest and was sentenced to five years probation. He was also required to register as a sex offender and consequently failed to update his status twice after moving to different places.

It’s a safe bet that Bieber didn’t know the details of Jeffrey’s recent past, but that doesn’t mean he should leave the picture up.
