Connor Golden, an 18-year-old student at the University of Miami, has been named as the man in Central Park whose leg was blown off in an explosion in Central Park. Initially it was believed that Connor had tried to set off fireworks himself, but later it was confirmed that he had actually stepped on a “shock-sensitive” explosive.
The NYPD Bomb Squad noted that the explosive had been inside a black plastic bag.
Conner is studying Music Engineer at the University of Miami.
