Karla Garcia, a 23-year-old Mexican model and aide at a local TV station, was gunned down and murdered in front of her family last week. Her death comes less than a year after her husband, Hilario Carvajal Lucas, who is believed to have been involved in a cartel, was also murdered.
According to reports, Karla was seen hanging with her friends at a Friday night party shortly before she was assassinated. Once she returned home, gunmen wearing dressed in black broke in and demanded to know “Who is Karina?” That’s when she made a break for it into the laundry room.
