The best week of the year when it comes to mindless entertainment is almost here. Rejoice! We’re talking, of course, about Shark Week. Beginning in 1988, Shark Week is Discovery Channel’s annual week dedicated to the most terrifying creatures in the ocean, and in recent years has been viewed by tens of millions of people and has become a social media phenomenon. The programming includes 17 all-new movies and specials about the fearsome fish.
Shark Tank begins this Sunday June 26th at 8 pm EST with a special called Tiger Beach about Tiger Sharks and runs for eight crazy nights. It wraps up on Sunday, July 3rd with a film called The Killing Games (who wouldn’t want to watch that?) about great white sharks. Can’t wait!
