Jack Black isn’t dead — and, really, there wasn’t even much anxiety about that after Tenacious D had its Twitter account hacked early this morning. Well, we suppose it could’ve been traumatic for any of Jack Black’s close relatives who followed Tenacious D. But then everyone quickly decided it wasn’t real. We’re not sure why. We’d put Jack Black at the top of a Dead Pool. Still, the post was quickly dismissed as a hoax, and the hacker conceded defeat with a fairly funny gag…
It took a while, but Tenacious D finally regained control of their account and posted the official denial below, and now everything’s back to normal. Not that anyone panicked to begin with, right? The whole thing was just kind of weird. We don’t know how we’d be feeling if we were Jack Black right now — but we’d probably just be counting our money for that Goosebumps sequel…
