The Northwestern Wildcats haven’t hit the ten-win mark much in their program’s history. The 2015 season was one of those years as the team went 10-3. The Wildcats will try to match that record or go even better in 2016 with a favorable early schedule that includes four straight home games to begin the season. Clayton Thorson will be back under center for Northwestern and will have Justin Jackson returning at running back. The offense must produce more points than they did in 2015 however because it led to too much pressure being left on the defense to hold the opposition down. If Thorson improves, the Wildcats could win ten games again even with road games at Iowa, Michigan State and Ohio State.
