The bottom of the SEC West standings isn’t a place that is very familiar for the Auburn Tigers with their 2-6 conference mark but the team had enough to win a bowl game to finish 7-6. The 2016 season will bring some chances especially at the quarterback position where it would appear that freshman John Franklin III is ready to come in and take over under center for Sean White and Jeremy Johnson. If Franklin starts, it will be against Clemson, who just went to the national championship game. This will be a season to watch very closely down at Auburn to see if there is enough there to make a run at a conference title.
