This Type of Tinder Photo Gets The Most People Laid

Are there people who met their girlfriend or boyfriend on Tinder? Yes. But did they hookup with countless randos beforehand? And initially believe that first date would end like the rest of them — in a small, dirty apartment with no real heating system? Yes — because that’s what Tinder is there for, despite what anyone says about it. And while the founders still insist it’s a “dating app” not meant for hot and steamy random encounters, co-founder Sean Rad is shedding light on what kind of photos get people laid the most. Or something.
In a recent article published by Metro, Rad opened up on some key data regarding what kind of profiles are getting the most right swipes.
“The data shows this: When your photo expresses something about your interests — like a skier skiing — or something about your personality, you do better,” explains Rad. “You do better as in you get more matches. I always tell people to be yourself. If you select images which clearly display your interests – i.e. travel, sports, a pet, quantum physics, collecting stamps – you’re more likely to make meaningful connections with users who share or admire your passions.”
And when he says “meaningful connections” he really means a steady FWB.
He added: “The model-y poses never work. Shots that display what you look like but the environment you live in, and your interests — they work.”
Alright, noted. If you look like a model douche, you’re not going to get laid. Got it. Somehow that doesn’t sounds entirely believable, but whatever; we’ll give it a shot. At this point, things can only go up from here!
