You know what’s hard? Dating. You know what should make it easier? Dating apps.
They’re literally everywhere – Tinder, Bumble, OkCupid, Match – and with them comes thousands of prospective daters eager to meet just about anyone. This should be simple. Literally all you have to do is not be a a**shole and you’ll get a date.
Unfortunately this is harder for some than it is for others, like this psychopath who went full-on Ted Bundy trying to pick this girl up for a date.
Imgur user msmessyclean recently posted a series of text messages between her and a prospective Tinder date and things got pretty terrifying rather quickly. She claims that he wasn’t crazy at first, but then randomly started showing that he might be mentally unstable when he started verbally attacking her via text message.
So I matched a guy on Tinder. He seemed pretty normal as first, a few quirks here and there, but who am I to judge, right? Matched, had a brief conversation, asked for my number and I gave it to him. Talked two or three nights ago and agreed to go on a Wednesday date. After agreeing and chatting on the phone, something felt off. He was too offbeat and I began to feel uncomfortable. The following day he said a few things that didn’t sit with me. This is was the final thing that did it…
Here’s how the conversation went:
Wow, ok. Dude is a f*cking psychopath. First you insult her, then you turn into a stalker, and then you blame your erratic behavior on your mom’s death (which probably isn’t a real thing to begin with)? He is definitely a sociopathic serial killer.
For anyone who ever thought stalking a girl was a romantic gesture, you’re wrong – please try not to threaten her before the date. It’s in poor taste.
