We Hung Out With Lil Jon And Jon Taffer To Celebrate Bar Rescue's 100th Episode

Super Tuesday lived up to its name this week, not because of the election polls, but because we got to hang out with rapper/DJ Lil Jon and Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer.
It’s not every day that shows reach 100 episodes, but Spike TV has made it look easy. Premiering in 2011, the creators of Bar Rescue came up with the perfect recipe for success- bring in renowned food and beverage consultant, Jon Taffer, have him yell at bar owners to get their act together, and ultimately prevent the establishment from closing. Overall, only 29 of 97 bars thus far have shut down and two have been sold.
To celebrate, we hit up STK in midtown Manhattan where we sipped on delicious cocktails from Crown Royal, Captain Morgan, Smirnoff and Ciroc and munched on yummy appetizers like risotto balls and spicy shrimp.

Fortunately for the oh-so-swanky STK, they didn’t need any rescuing. Instead, DJ Sinatra and Lil Jon provided guests with music throughout the night and the President of Spike TV, Kevin Kay congratulated Taffer and his team with a champagne toast.
