Shia LaBeouf is Riding in an Elevator for 24 Hours & People Are Actually Live Streaming It

These days, art is questionable. Obviously the classics can still be trusted – Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet – but when some a**hole tries selling a large piece of canvas with splattered paint on it, it’s not only irritating, it’s insane. A child could do that – a monkey! And don’t give me some bullish*t explanation about how it’s representative of how you felt when your dad abandoned you, and how art is what you make it. False! FALSE!
Anyway, Shia LaBeouf is the latest d-bag to take advantage of the millennial art scene. He is currently riding in an elevator for 24 straight hours and people are actually live streaming it. Take a look:

So, what the f*ck is going on here? According to people who are actually following this so-called “performance art experience,” Shia is riding an Oxford elevator with fellow genius artists like Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turnerwill from 9 a.m. local time Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday. But for what reason?
Good question. We have no clue. But apparently you’ll be able to ask him whatever’s on your mind after it’s over.
“Visitors will be able to join LaBeouf, Rönkkö and Turner inside the elevator during [the 24 hours], and are invited to address the artists, the debating chamber, and the internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address,” the description of the live feed on YouTube reads
On another note, he’s allowed bathroom breaks, so if you are watching, you can rest assured knowing you won’t have to witness him popping a squat in a crowded elevator.
Although, it would be way more artistic if he did.
