If you’re a red-blooded American, you eat hot dogs–that’s just a fact. They’re cheap, delicious, and filling when you have about four of them. But if you’re a college student living in a dorm, you probably don’t realize that it’s completely possible for you to cook hot dogs for yourself without a grill.
As long as you’ve got a coffee maker, you’re in the green.
Truthfully, it’s always a good idea to buy pre-cooked hot dogs just to be sure about safety but the boiling water does a fantastic job of heating up the hot dogs all the way through. And as far as ketchup and mustard go, you can leave the mustard out of the fridge but ketchup should be kept refrigerated at all times.
