When I was a kid, I really wanted to be a singer, and I was convinced that it was a thing I could actually accomplish. But when I was 11-years-old, my parents put an end to that dream, and while it seemed harsh at the time, I’m kind of glad that they did. My plans of moving to New York City to get an agent were straight-up dumb, and considering I couldn’t carry a tune any better than William Hung, it was never going to happen. So I’m here to say thanks Mom and Dad, for laughing in my face when I told you I wanted to be the next Britney Spears. I owe you one.
Now if I was anything like Nano, this 20-year-old Norwegian chick who’s convinced she’s a cat trapped in a human’s body, they wouldn’t have been as nice – a hefty laugh would’ve been replaced with an intense therapy session.
But alas, that wasn’t the case, even though Nano’s reason for feeling this way makes her suitable for a proper case study: she hates water, likes to meow, and has great hearing.
“I realized I was a cat when I was 16 when doctors and psychologists found out what was ‘the thing’ with me,” Nano said. “Under my birth there was a genetic defect … I think I will be cat all my life.” Oh yeah, there was definitely a defect alright.
However, Nano isn’t the only person at fault for being really f*cking weird here. Her best friend Svien, who she communicates with through a supposed cat language, is also at fault. He has three personalities and one of them is a cat.
Again, where is this girl’s parents?!
In a recent interview with NRK P3 Verdens Rikeste Land, Nino divulged some details on her cat life. Apparently she’s single and ready to mingle, but only if you’re hairy and into sniffing butts. It’s the feline way!
