Butterfinger Is Paying For NFL Players To Start Doing Touchdown Celebrations Again

And Roger Goodell has already mishandled the situation.
As part of it’s new Bolder Than Bold campaign, Butterfinger is offering pro football players up to $50,000 to pay for the fines they may incur for excessively celebrating in the final three games of the season. Sounds like a win for everyone involved, including the NFL. Despite it’s relentless efforts to make the league as little fun as possible, everyone still loves a good celebration.
To launch this campaign, Butterfinger recruited famous mad man comedian Billy Eichner to do what he does best: unsuspectingly berate people on the streets of New York. They paired him up with legendary NFL diva receiver Terrell Owens, and sent them to the streets of New York to ask unsuspecting commuters and tourists to share their own touchdown celebrations. As is anything with Billy Eichner, the results are hilarious.
Whether any players actually take Butterfinger up on their offer has yet to be seen. I can tell you one thing, if a player does do it, he¬†certainly¬†won’t be a Patriots player, I can guarantee you that. If I had to bet, my money would be on a Carolina Panther. Those dudes love clowning around. As if I wasn’t already excited for the Conference Championship weekend already, Butterfinger has somehow doubled my anticipation.
We should all celebrate with a Butterfinger.
