So… this is weird.
A 60-year-old woman was having a really sh*tty day – or perhaps, a really sh*tty life? – when she lost the key to her chastity belt and had to ask a local fire department to free her from her woes.
This is not a joke.
The Italian woman reportedly asked firefighters to help her open a padlock. Naturally they thought it was for a door in her home… until she lifted up her sweater and put her iron chastity belt on display.
According to Inside Edition, firefighters managed to get the lock open, but promptly questioned if she was the victim of domestic violence. Turns out she wasn’t – she’s just really, really afraid of it.
The woman, whose name has not been released under Italian privacy law, said she was worried about the incidents of sexual violence she saw on the news and embarking on a sexual relationship, according to reports.
The key still has yet to turn up, despite multiple searches.
