Shoutout To This UCSD Professor Who Taught Math Class In Middle of a Flood

San Diego is currently dealing with a pretty horrible flood, but one UCSD teacher won’t allow that to stop him from educating our nation’s youth on the finer points of math.
You think a man like Kenneth Barrese, a visiting professor at the University of California San Diego, wakes up every morning satisfied with the fact that the US is #32 in terms of math proficiency? Hell no.
Vector Calculus ain’t gonna teach itself and he’ll be damned if he lets our great nation decline on his watch.

But seriously, this absurd. The only thing more painful than learning calculus is learning calculus with wet shoes.
