The dangerous rush attack from the Midshipmen was simply too much for the Panthers to handle. Reynolds finished his Navy career with 142 yards rushing and 126 yards passing in his final game while Chris Swain added 110 yards on the ground. Peterman was pressured all day for Pittsburgh and had just 137 yards passing with a touchdown and three interceptions. Tyler Boyd had 55 yards rushing and 52 yards receiving for the Panthers. Navy finishes with an 11-2 record while Pittsburgh finishes 8-5 for the 2015 year.

4th Quarter- Navy 38, Pittsburgh 28: Ollison finds a hole and goes 45 yards for a Panthers touchdown with 9:35 left. This one isn’t over yet but Pittsburgh needs some defensive stops.
4th Quarter- Navy 38, Pittsburgh 21: A huge touchdown from Toneo Gulley from 15 yards out with 10:58 to play in the game gives the Midshipmen a bigger lead late.
4th Quarter- 14:00 left: Navy gets a key first down on fourth down to keep their drive alive.
End of 3rd Quarter: The Midshipmen have a ten-point lead but it feels like it is closer than that as the final 15 minutes of this bowl game arrives. Keenan Reynolds has 107 yards passing and 105 yards rushing for Navy from the quarterback position. Chris Swain has added 86 yards for Navy to help Reynolds out. Nathan Peterman has thrown for 107 yards as well but has two interceptions to go with his third quarter touchdown pass. A very exciting final quarter to come.
3rd Quarter- 2:52 left: Navy needs to run some clock with Pittsburgh having all the momentum at this point.
3rd Quarter- Navy 31, Pittsburgh 21: Here comes the Panthers as Jordan Whitehead takes in a fumble from 22 yards out for a big defensive score to cut the Navy lead down to just ten points with 2:57 to play in the third.
3rd Quarter- Navy 31, Pittsburgh 14: A touchdown for Qadree Ollison on a four-yard touchdown pass from Peterman but it remains a three-score game with 3:14 left in the quarter.
3rd Quarter- Navy 31, Pittsburgh 7: Austin Grebe hits a 35-yard field goal and the lead is up to 24 points with 8:11 left in the quarter.
3rd Quarter- 8:16 left: Navy has driven again deep into Pittsburgh territory with Reynolds breaking rushing records along the way.
3rd Quarter- 10:53 left: The Panthers go quietly on their first possession of the second half and have to hope their defense can finally stop Navy’s offense to have any chance to rally.
3rd Quarter- Navy 28, Pittsburgh 7: The Midshipmen extend their lead on a 26-yard touchdown run by Demond Brown with 12:28 left in the quarter and the rout is on in Annapolis. There was even a halfback pass to Reynolds on the drive.

Halftime: Navy 21, Pittsburgh 7

It has been all Navy for most of the first half. Keenan Reynolds is making a statement in his final game for the Midshipmen. Reynolds is 7-for-12 passing for 107 yards and a touchdown and has added two rushing touchdowns to go with 57 yards on the ground. Chris Swain is leading Navy in rushing with 63 yards on 12 carries. Nathan Peterman is 5-for-11 for 72 yards and two interceptions for the Panthers as Navy is more than doubling time of possession on Pittsburgh so far. Navy held the ball for 20:50 while the Panthers had it just 9:10. It is a recipe for Navy success.
2nd Quarter- :36 left: Peterman is intercepted for the second time as Boyd slips and falls down in the endzone. A huge turn of events in the closing seconds.
2nd Quarter- Navy 21, Pittsburgh 7: Reynolds goes to the air and finds Tyler Carmona on an 11-yard touchdown pass to extend the lead with 1:41 to play in the first half. A big score late in the half.
2nd Quarter- 3:10 left: Pittsburgh needs to find a way to slow down the Navy rush game or this game is going to get away from them before halftime as the Midshipmen are down to the Panthers’ 31-yard line.
2nd Quarter- 6:04 left: Nathan Peterman’s pass is intercepted as he went deep for Tyler Boyd and Navy gets the ball back on the Lorentez Barbour pick.
2nd Quarter- 7:59 left: Pittsburgh gets a very big stop to stop Navy from making it a two-touchdown lead and with their offense, that may have been enough.
2nd Quarter- 11:43 left: Chris Blewitt misses a chip-shot 28-yard field goal for the Panthers and the Midshipmen keep their seven-point lead.
2nd Quarter- 12:29 left: Pittsburgh has driven deep into Navy territory early in this second quarter looking to tie the game up.
End of 1st Quarter: Navy is running all over Pittsburgh with 107 rushing yards through the first 15 minutes. Reynolds is 3-for-4 passing for 54 yards and has 23 more yards rushing with the two touchdowns. The Panthers have the kickoff return but not much else with Navy taking tons of time off the clock with their run game. Tyler Boyd has 21 rushing yards and 12 receiving yards to lead Pittsburgh.
1st Quarter- Navy 14, Pittsburgh 7: Reynolds is at it again, this time with a five-yard touchdown run for his second score of the game with 41 seconds left in the opening quarter of play.
1st Quarter- 4:29 left: Navy is running their offense to perfection and are driving.
1st Quarter- 7:28 left: The first stop of the game comes from Navy as Pittsburgh is forced to punt from near midfield.
1st Quarter- Navy 7, Pittsburgh 7: The Midshipmen march right down the field and get a one-yard touchdown run from Reynolds to tie the game with 9:26 to play in the opening quarter. The triple option is hard to stop.
1st Quarter- Pittsburgh 7, Navy 0: What a way to start for the Panthers on a 99-yard kickoff return by Quadree Henderson just 14 seconds into the game.

Pregame

The biggest week of the college football bowl season kicks off Monday afternoon with the Military Bowl as the 10-2 Navy Midshipmen host the 8-4 Pittsburgh Panthers in Annapolis. Keenan Reynolds will play one final game in front of the home fans and will look to finish his career with a flourish. Reynolds threw for 1,077 yards and rushed for 1,229 more this year. Kickoff is scheduled for just past 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.
