We’re sad to report that Estefano Aime, a senior at the University of Miami, died last night after a fatal fall from the School of Communications. Sources say that around midnight Estefano fell four to five stories on the Coral Gables campus.
NBC Miami is reporting that Stefano was dropped off at the school after attending an event at Rubi’s Lounge in Brickell. He then went to the fifth floor of the building with a female friend and tried to jump from one ledge to the other and didn’t make it.

Estefano was a business major who was well-liked by many people. He studied in Rome last Spring and worked at The Rathskeller, a popular place to eat. He was also an avid kiteboarder.

The entire University of Miami community is in mourning following an apparent accident on the Coral Gables campus, after which a student passed away. Miamian Estefano Aime was a senior in the School of Business majoring in Entrepreneurship, who worked on campus at the Ratskeller. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
