The Michigan Wolverines hired former quarterback Jim Harbaugh as their coach before this season and now find themselves 7-2 going into an important game on Saturday afternoon as they hit the road to face the Indiana Hoosiers. Indiana is 4-5 overall and 0-5 in the conference while Michigan is still looking for a chance at the Big Ten title game.
Jake Rudock has thrown for 1,780 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions this season but has had his struggles for the Wolverines. Amara Darboh has 37 catches, 458 yards and three touchdowns to lead the pass game for Rudock. In the running game, De’Veon Smith has been finding lanes to rush through with 524 yards and five touchdowns. This is a game that Michigan can’t look past for the future and must take Indiana seriously.
Nate Sudfeld has 2,229 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions this year for the Hoosiers. Ricky Jones has been a leader in the pass game with 41 catches for 708 yards and five touchdowns. Jordan Howard has 961 yards on the ground to go with his seven touchdowns and is showing why scouts are so high on him. The Hoosiers would love to find a way to get a big win after losing their first five conference games. This would be their chance.
