We might not have flying cars and teleportation yet, but don’t tell me the future isn’t here when we have people flying above the clouds on jetpacks. Enter Jetman Dubai (aka Jetman Yves Rossy and his protege, Jetman Vince Reffet) who have developed their own special jetpacks that allow them to fly and soar wherever the hell they like.
Last year the two blew up the internet with an amazing video featuring the team flying through the skies of Dubai, in-between the city’s massive buildings. Now they’re back with a brand new video, this time sponsored by United Arab Emirates, where the insane Frenchmen fly right next to an airplane. You half expect them to land on the wing and rip open the hatch–a la Iron Man or Superman.

Even better is that Jetman Dubai aren’t the only guys flying above ground on jetpacks, they’re just the best funded and most well-known. There are more than a couple of jetpack enthusiasts who have different designs and makes of jetpacks than Yvess Rossy, like this dude flying around the Statue of Liberty.
