Weather Channel Takes a Break From Scaring the Sh*t Out of You to Hit New Low

The Weather Channel has hit a new low with the announcement of their 2016 winter storm names.
The company has taken a break from scaring the shit out of you on a daily basis to announce that parts of the country should be prepared of upcoming winter storms Yolo and Goliath.
Ummm….. Yolo? Really?!
According to the Washington Post,

The names were selected again with help from Bozeman High School’s Latin Club in Bozeman, Mont. The list was tweaked by senior meteorologist Bryan Norcross, who said he combed through the suggestions to make sure they’re short, pronounceable and work well as a hashtag, since social media is the “driving force behind the naming.”

Names will only apply to “storms that threaten populations of 2 million or greater, or an area of 400,000 square kilometers.”
But like, who’s going to be threatened by something named Cara?
Check out the full list of names below.
