Instagram wants to make an R-rated version of itself and we’re all for it.
Despite recently addressing the #FreeTheNipple controversy and blaming the whole clustuerf*ck on Apple, cofounder Kevin Systrom discussed making a less strict version of the popular social media platform during Vanity Fair‘s New Establishment Summit in San Francisco on Tuesday.
“There have been discussions,” he said, elaborating that it would be a slippery slope when it came to “who decides what’s R-rated. We’re not in the business of hosting p0rn,” he added. “We focus on people being able to express themselves in beautiful ways.”
Riiiiiight. Well, some people like to express themselves without a shirt on, and it’s beautiful! So let them be! Am I right?!
