It has been a number of years now since the glory days of Rutgers Scarlet Knights football with Ray Rice at running back. The team is now in its second year of Big Ten play and is looking to make a statement behind quarterback Chris Laviano and running back Josh Hicks. This is a team that will score points so Big Ten teams need to be on the lookout for that. Rutgers does get the benefit of hosting Ohio State and Michigan State this season which can be looked at as good and bad. That is the next measuring stick in their success.
