Expectations around the Iowa Hawkeyes are normally high and Kirk Ferentz usually puts a high-quality team on the field. Iowa though is in a place this season where they could finally make a serious run at the Big Ten West Division title and a berth in the title game. C.J. Beathard looks like the real deal at quarterback and the team has a schedule that shouldn’t put any fear into fans in Iowa City. There are games at Wisconsin and Northwestern that the Hawkeyes will need to get through but neither team is a juggernaut. The Hawkeyes will play in the Rose Bowl after losing the Big Ten title game.
