Many teams fear the Oregon Ducks because of their high-powered offense and those fears came true last season as Oregon made it into the playoff and into the national championship game before losing to Ohio State. Marcus Mariota has moved on to the NFL but it doesn’t mean Oregon should be looked at lightly even with a difficult schedule. An early trip to Michigan State should be a measuring stick and games at Stanford and then at home against USC may determine whether or not another magical season is happening in Eugene.
