Kaiser Carlile, Bat Boy Dead: Nine-Year-Old Killed By Swing

Kaiser Carlile, a nine-year-old bat boy for the Liberal Bee Jays, died after being hit in the head with a swing. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The Liberal Bee Jays are a collegiate baseball team who were playing in the National Baseball Congress World Series game Saturday night when Kaiser accidentally walked into the on-deck circle during the second inning.

The game continued after Kaiser was taken off the field in an ambulance, but fans showed a lot of support during the game on Sunday. Everyone wore letters KC to honor the brave boy, and a donation box was passed around. Over $2000 were given.

The Bee Jays have started a GoFundMe page for the family to assist with medical bills and other fees.
