The World Cup of FIFA Beach Soccer is underway in Portugal right now, and there are many reasons why you should care about it. First and foremost, it’s because the Beach Soccer game is filled with goals and highlights. It’s the soccer equivalent of street basketball.
Second, FIFA Beach Soccer has cheerleaders–which I think we can all agree the other World Cup can use. Two years ago (the Beach Soccer World Cup is every two years) tournament was hosted in Tahiti, which was pretty much an excuse for the cheerleaders to go on vacation.
