Bob Costas thought Chicago Cubs reliever Pedro Strop did a lousy job on the mound last night, and was tossed in the eight inning after the Cardinals’ Greg Garcia tied up the game with a homer. Costas was correct–but maybe we would’ve forgotten that by now if the announcer hadn’t made some really puzzling color commentary while Strop sulked off the field…

Even the Twitter brigade took offense to that one, and they’re usually coming up with better jibes than Costas…
But at least it’s an excuse to run this again. Never gets old, right?
