A man suspected of attacking four people near Union Square in New York City with a hammer has reportedly been shot and killed by police on 37th and 8th. The NY Post has identified him as David Baril.
According to witnesses, the man attacked a female police officer after she recognized him from the photos and tried to question him. Immediately following that attack, another police officer shot him in the head. The injured police officer has been taken to the hospital.

Anyone caught protesting this death should be protested by protestors for ruining any semblance of legitimacy to their protests.
