Actress Melissa Benoist – best known for her roles in Glee and Whiplash – is moving onto her next big role as Supergirl.
The 26-year-old announced her excitement on Twitter yesterday after the new TV series was picked up by CBS. Judging how much we love Benoist, we’d say she just scored her perfect role. And we’re really looking forward to seeing her in that costume.
