The biggest big deal in the world of movie trailers this week was likely the international look at the latest take on Fantastic Four–and we’re glad that was already covered, because it was pretty underwhelming. In contrast, we’re rocking the weekend with some big and small productions that didn’t get as much attention. And the first is definitely going to be the party film of the year. Or at least for fans of college horror movies…
Dude Bro Party Massacre III
No, there was never a Dude Bro Party Massacre I or II–but we’re pretty excited about this one, even if it is obviously a convoluted kind of parody. There’s a pizza monster, after all. Which is actually kind of confusing, because the official plot is about a legacy pledge recruiting for Delta Bi Theta while trying to solve the murder of his twin brother at the hands of a serial killer named Motherface. We’re not sure what the pizza monster has to do with that. Anyway, this looks cheap as hell, but the cast includes Patton Oswalt, Larry King, and Andrew W.K….
