NFL players have been arrested for many different things over the years. New Orleans Saints cornerback, Brian Dixon, may have found a new one that can be put down and placed into the ‘odd’ file. Dixon was arrested on Sunday morning for resisting an officer after he was pulled over riding a moped, according to the Times-Picayune.
Mopeds aren’t permitted on the streets, and when Dixon questioned the officers about why he couldn’t ride the moped, he was arrested. Dixon was charged with resisting arrested and released from the Miami-Dade County jail on Sunday morning after posting $1,000 bond.
The Saints, along with NFL security, are investigating what happened.
