Keith Olbermann Calls PSU Students 'Pitiful,' Promptly Apologizes

Keith Olbermann made a couple thousand enemies yesterday when he blasted Penn State University students on Twitter post-THON.

The big-mouthed sports and political commentator responded to a classic “We are!” tweet by finishing the sentence with “…pitiful.” Naturally the students didn’t take his comment lightly, and a heated debate ensued. The rant ended earlier today when he apologized, presumably because he finally realized that he looked like a total di**. Who bashes a bunch of students after they just spent the weekend raising $13 million for pediatric cancer research!?
