Lauren Hill, a freshman at Division III Mount St. Joseph’s, is our hero of the weekend after she scored her first points against Hiram University after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor which doctors believe will kill her in a few months.

It’s more than a sad story, it’s absolutely devastating to hear about a young woman who knows her life is going to end sooner than it should. It’s even sadder when you hear how positive she is about the whole tragedy.
