Florida State-Notre Dame Off At Sports Books Due To Jameis Winston

[photo: Jeff Gammons/Getty]This Saturday’s Florida State-Notre Dame game has the college football world buzzing–but the possibility of Jameis Winston being suspended continues to grow everyday. That has caused many of the sports books in Las Vegas to pull the game off their boards. That’s the actual response to nobody knowing right now if Winston is going to play or not.
Florida State is looking into more than 900 Winston autographs that were authenticated by the same company that was linked to Todd Gurley, who was suspended indefinitely by Georgia. The Seminoles need Winston to be on the field if they want to be successful and win their second straight national championship.
The sports books though are terrified that if the game is left on the board and Winston doesn’t play, it will result in a massive loss. There are still a few days left until the game is actually played and it could end up back on the board at one point or another but for now, the betting public will just have to sit on the sidelines for this one.
