A lot of California Golden Bears fans thought that Saturday’s game at Arizona was in the bag. After all, the team had an 18-point lead going to the fourth quarter. The team’s official online store sure believed the game was a done deal. They sent out the above Twitter (obviously) before Arizona threw a Hail Mary pass to complete their comeback to win 49-45.
Somebody should’ve still been paying closer attention to the game. Instead, this follow-up Tweet was necessary….
The Bears get back on the field this coming Saturday at home against Colorado, and the online store will be waiting before sending out any deals. This kind of thing can’t happen again. It’s like having the band run out onto the field too soon.
