United States Senator Mary Landrieu has a few problems while running for reelection in Louisiana this year–including questionable flight expenses on the public dime, and not actually having a home in Louisiana. So she’s pretty desperate to seem like a local gal to the people of her home state, and these pics that got passed around on Twitter can’t hurt. It’s the official record of United States Senator Mary Landrieu helping out with a keg stand at LSU while working the campus before the college lost to the (unranked) Mississippi State Bulldogs.
It was a bad weekend for LSU, but we’re guessing that Mary Landrieu won’t be suffering too much from these pics–even though we can think of a few LSU types who’d usually claim this was an endorsement of evil fraternity life if Landrieu was a guy. But it’s all good in this reelection scenario. And, yes, Landrieu turned down an invitation to do a keg stand herself, probably because she didn’t have a chance to first do some polling on how that’d work for her…
