A number of new writers have been announced for the upcoming season of SNL as current writer Michael Che takes a spot at the “Weekend Update” desk. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, Che got his start in stand-up in 2009, began writing for SNL in 2013, and joined the “Daily Show” cast this year.
