Did Your School Make US News & World Report’s Best Colleges Lists?

Every year, U.S. News & World Report releases its list of the best and brightest colleges that you could have attended if you didn’t settle for cheaper in-state tuition or choosing to stay at home with your parents as a way to save money on room and board. If you’ve been a regular follower of the list, you’re probably not going to be that surprised with most of the results.

Once again, Princeton University topped the list as the Best National University in the country. Williams College  in Williamstown, Massachusetts topped the list of the Best Liberal Arts College in America and the University of California-Berkeley won the top spot on the list of the Best Public Schools. Each has been in its respective spot at least once in a previous list.

Princeton and Berkley topped the list for the second year in a row. Williams College has been the top Liberal Arts College for the last 12 years in a row because, well, it’s the liberal arts and it’s not exactly a competitive field in this kind of a job market. We’re sure if there was a bigger call for medieval tapestry majors out there that the choices might be a little more varied.

Find the magazine’s complete list of rankings  on their website–and we have some graphics below as a quick reference. And if you’re already in school and your institution of higher learning didn’t earn much real estate towards the top of the food chain–well, we feel for you…
