The Evolution of "Madden," As Seen On Steve Young's Game Winning Drive [VIDEO]

Madden‘s come a long way since it first was released in 1988–a decidedly good thing, considering how much technology has advanced in 25+ years. The thing is, when you were a kid you thought they were the best graphics ever.

So in celebration of the release of Madden 2015, Madden afficianado and UCLA Film student Michael Bromberg pieced together this retrospective video of Madden through the years. If the drive seems familiar to you, it’s because this is the famous Steve Young drive where the 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers. Enjoy.

Also, can we just talk about how crazy the turnaround on this piece is? The game came out two days ago and already there are “Evolution” videos. Crazy.
