It's OK To Pee In The Ocean Because Science-And More Morning Links

Good news everybody–The American Chemical Society has explained in a new video that it’s absolutely OK to pee in the ocean. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, the video points out that human urine is more than 95 percent water, and its sodium and chloride content is no threat to seawater or the organisms that live in it. Urine is harmless in the first place, and within minutes it is diluted to the point of insignificance. And check this out: If everybody in the world urinated in the Atlantic Ocean, the ratio of urine to ocean would be 60 parts per trillion–I think that’s a safe ratio to still swim in.
