Landon Donovan Shows His Short Memory In Newest Foot Locker Commercial

Landon “Captain America” Donovan has joined James Harden in the most recent “Short Memory” commercials for Foot Locker. The last time we checked in with Harden, Charles Barkley explained that all the greats have short memories. Hence Scottie Pippen’s quote that he’s the “Greatest Chicago Bull ever.”

Enter Landon Donovan, the name that was on everybody’s lips when he was cut from the USMNT after being the captain for the World Cup Team in 2010.

These Foot Locker “Short Memory” commercials are quickly turning into my favorite ads of the summer. If not just because they show not every elite athlete isn’t afraid to make fun of themselves.
