Bryce Harper is known for doing some fiery things–and on Saturday night, the Washington Nationals outfielder was heading to the plate for his one of his at-bats after the Atlanta Braves. That’s when he appears to have intentionally ran his foot through the Braves’ “A” logo behind home plate.
If that’s the case, Harper deserves a lot of criticism. He’s since denied attempting to kick the logo, but here’s some video. Take a look for yourself…

He can say whatever he wants about the incident but he is walking normally and suddenly looks down, sees the logo and runs his foot across it. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if the Braves have an inside pitch waiting for Harper the next time the two teams play in Atlanta just to make a point. It sounds childish to do that but that’s the nature of the game now.
